i think the point of these is to point out the mass-media popularity and consumerism that supports ignorance and no-talent artists to the point that they it becomes all the public sees or hears of a certain group. obviously african-americans still write amazing music, the problem is that the mass-media doesnt hype it. i rarely turn on the radio and hear music that is different, that inspires, that is true art. i normally hear the same 3 notes, and auto tune, and everyone using the same lyrics that some dead guy wrote 15 years ago.
do yourself a favor and smash your radio, and go out and find music that speaks to you. dont just let people spoon feed you this bullshit. you deserve better.
